HISTORY

Make a Timeline
This is for the entire book, make additions after each part
MATERIALS:  4 sheets of 8 1/2 by 11 paper, scissors, different colored pens or pencils, tape, yarn
STEP ONE: Fold paper in half lengthwise, cut  along fold
STEP TWO: Place the ruler next to the bottom of each paper.  On top of the ruler draw a line
STEP FOUR: Tape the pages together, making sure the line matches up.
STEP FIVE: At 1/2 inch intervals write each date from 6000 BC through 2000 AD.  Use 50 year increments

    UR of Antiquity



    Uncle Bruno brought back pieces from an ancient game.  It is now referred to as “Ur of Antiquity”

    Make the game board.

    MATERIALS: Copies of squares from game board, ruler, 20 2 X 2 squares made from white paper, black pen, scissors, crayons or markers,
    large piece of construction paper, glue

    STEP ONE: Use black pen draw each pattern onto squares



    STEP TWO: Color pictures


    STEP THREE: Arrange shapes on construction paper by following pattern on picture of game board'

    STEP FOUR: Cut around outside edge to form game board

    MAKE the DICE

    MATERIALS: white paper, scissors, crayons or markers, scotch tape

    STEP ONE: Follow pattern 1 and make 6 equilateral triangles 

    STEP TWO: Color two corners and each triangle

    STEP THREE: Fold along dotted lines

    STEP FOUR: Scotch tape
